Help Plans and billing
Starting or changing a plan
Start a plan from the billing panel in your console, and change it, or switch between monthly and annual, in Manage billing.
Updated · Edwards Consulting Group
Plans are bought and changed by an organization's admins and contracts managers. A viewer sees the plan but cannot change it.
Starting a plan
- Sign in. The Plan panel is at the top of your console's Overview (for a supplier, at the top of Requests; it is also on the SPRS score, System security plan and Compliance dates pages while your plan does not include them). There is no separate Billing tab.
- Choose Start Starter, Start Growth or Start Scale (for a supplier, Upgrade to Supplier Pro).
- You go to a secure checkout run by Stripe, our payment processor. Enter a card and your billing address; the address is how sales tax is worked out.
- When the payment goes through you come back to the console. Your plan shows there as soon as Stripe confirms it, usually within a minute.

Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch Tiermark's systems.
Plans start monthly. To pay yearly, switch to annual in Manage billing (below) whenever you like: the unused part of your month is taken off the first year.
Changing your plan
Choose Manage billing in the Plan panel. It is there on every plan, the free one included, for an admin or a contracts manager; a viewer sees "Billing is managed by an admin or a contracts manager" instead. It opens your billing page at Stripe, where you can:
- Move to a bigger plan. It starts at once; you are charged now for the rest of the current period, less what you already paid for it.
- Move to a smaller plan, or from annual to monthly. It takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
- Move from monthly to annual. It starts at once, with the unused part of your month taken off the first year.

If you already have a subscription, the console sends you to Manage billing instead of starting a second one, so you never pay for two.
